Missions

“Not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit, thus sayeth the Lord…” – Zechariah 4:6

The global ministry of Chapel Missions has been built upon that verse. More than two decades ago Calvary Chapel Boise numbered just a few hundred souls. They began reaching around the world to India by sending $20 a week for one outreach into one slum. Before long God brought a convert, then another. A home church began. When a baby was abandoned at the pastor’s door, a ministry to homeless children resulted. Every need was perceived as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ and exhibit his care and compassion.

Today Chapel Missions India cares for more than 500 children in its Homes of Hope. Seventy-seven Calvary Chapels dot the subcontinent. A Bible College trains evangelists and teachers. Thousands of children hear the gospel through after-school programs. Special ministries serve lepers and HIV-positive individuals.

Chapel Missions efforts are not limited to India. It also supports missionaries in England, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The uncommon love of our Savior knits stay-at-home-hearts together with those in the mission field. His grace enables each and every one of us to play a role in helping to “make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19-20) To learn more about prayer requests or other ways you can get involved click on the links to the left.
