Children’s Ministry

It is a real privilege for us to have your child participate in our children’s ministry. It is our hope and prayer that it will continue to be a spiritually rewarding time. We, as a church family, have lovingly made a commitment to partner with parents in teaching the crucial and awesome truth of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to make children’s time here the best days of their week and our goal is to deliver biblical teaching in a fun environment. We are dedicated to the harvest of all these little souls.

Offered weekly, these classes help teach grade school age kids about Jesus while having fun (times listed in the weekly bulletin). The Children’s Ministry leader is Steve Carlson.

Nursery

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

Our vision at Calvary Chapel Boise, “to know Jesus and make Him known,” is also our goal in the nursery. We desire to nurture a child’s trust and confidence by providing a tender, secure, and loving environment. Our aim is that each child will experience the love of our Lord Jesus through our care givers.

Pre-Marital Discipleship

Congratulations on your decision to marry…

The most important decision that you will make in life, next to choosing to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, is who you will chose to marry. Marriage, from God’s perspective, is to be a lifelong commitment to companionship rooted in love between a husband and wife, to the glory of Jesus Christ. (See Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:21-33). Death alone should be the only reason the commitment ends. Jesus said, “…what God has joined together let no one separate,” (Matthew 19:6). In order to succeed in your future marriage, you’ll need to lay a strong foundation, through prayer and careful planning, which will equip you and your mate to have a solid and fulfilling relationship as well as help you to effectively deal with the challenges you will inevitably experience. Our goal through God’s Grace is to help you lay and build upon a solid foundation in your future marriage.

Thank you for considering Calvary Chapel Boise in your wedding plans.
