One-on-One

At Calvary Chapel our desire is to equip and prepare believers to disciple Christians of all ages, races, and backgrounds. The Word of God is totally sufficient for this task and has the answers for every problem that man may face.

The goal of our discipleship ministry is to bring about effective personality and behavioral change. The process in which this goal is reached is to confront, comfort, and teach biblical principles. We believe that through the study of His Word, the power of prayer, accountability, and fellowship, challenging issues can be completely overcome. Disciplers provide an example through their own trials, share hope and stand beside the disciplee during their trials. Through this experience, the disciplee learns the principles and power of the Scriptures as well as the faithfulness of God. This helps both of them to realize, recognize, and live out God’s solutions as each problem or trial is conquered.

Prayer Chain

This “on-call” team is mobilized as prayer requests are presented through phone calls and messages. We pray for people within our fellowship with urgent needs which require specific intercessory prayer and servants involved in upcoming events and outreaches. The first person who receives the prayer request then connects with the next link by calling the next person in line, and this process activates the prayer chain. School of Ministry

The Calvary Chapel Boise School of Ministry was started in the fall of 2005 with the purpose of providing training for those whom God is calling to full time ministry. Our school is not reserved only for those called to pastoral positions, but will also serve to help prepare those who are headed into various fields including missions, worship, children’s, and youth ministries.

Transforming Vision Retreats

Semi-annual retreat provides you a unique opportunity to experience a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. These retreats are designed especially for those who are struggling with major barriers to their spiritual growth. During this weekend retreat you are given a chance to be ministered to individually, as well as time alone with the Lord to experience the spiritual breakthrough you need.
