Angela Feaster
Angela grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as her personal savior at a very young age. She has had her up and downs over the years and went through some tough times in high school. After she graduated, she learned what it means to give her whole life to God and totally dedicate her life to Him. She continued to grow as a young bride of 19 and young mother of 20. When she was 23, God moved her and her husband, her two year old son and new born baby girl away from everything they knew to the San Francisco area. That is when the rubber met the road. She had no choice but to rely on God and her husband Joel. “Those five years were a pivotal time for me. After a year of living there, I was pregnant with our third child and Joel was laid off while I was in New Mexico for my grandmother’s funeral. I was a stay at home mom so we had no income and our rent was over two thousand a month. We had no choice but to trust God.” Joel was out of work for 5 months and God took care of every bill in His way and His time. “One thing I have learned is how to trust God in those situations when we as humans have no control.” We had to rely on that faith and trust again when God asked us to adopt a baby boy from Vietnam in 2007. It took every ounce of faith and trust to wait for His timing. After a year and a half God worked miracle after miracle and gave us a 7 month old baby boy.
Angela has been involved in children’s ministry and women’s ministry in other Calvary Chapels in New Mexico and California. She has been a part of Mom’s Refresher Bible Study for 3 years and is now leading the Tuesday evening study. She has been married to Joel since 1996 and is a home school mom to their two boys and five girls.
